This small courtyard in Napa was originally just a concrete path with some unkempt shrubs and a tree in the planting area. George and Liz wanted an attractive, welcoming space for visitors featuring a wider path and a beautiful garden to look at from their kitchen window—a place to occasionally sit in the mornings and to grow herbs.
